On behalf of the Board of Guaranteed Irish we are pleased to present this Budget Submission to Government, representing the collective voice of Guaranteed Irish member businesses across the country. Developed in consultation with our members, this submission identifies critical areas where targeted tax measures and laser-focused expenditure measures in Budget 2026 can help.
At Guaranteed Irish, we believe we are All Together Better in building a more resilient, inclusive, and innovative economy. Our 2,300+ members - both homegrown and international - are embedded in communities nationwide and are central to employment, sustainability, and regional economic development; creating a mutually reinforcing ecosystem, including integrated local supply chains.
We advocate for a more balanced and inclusive approach to economic development - one that places Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) - alongside FDI in national priorities.
Guaranteed Irish calls for a long-term, holistic policy framework that recognises the vital role of Irish-rooted businesses in securing our shared future.
This submission outlines practical budget proposals in four key areas:
- Recognising Guaranteed Irish as a trusted economic partner.
- Strengthening Irish enterprise and the competitiveness on the Irish economy.
- Accelerating infrastructure delivery.
- Building an innovative state.
We trust this submission will be given thoughtful consideration and that the voices of Guaranteed Irish members will be reflected in Budget 2026, and included in consultations and trade missions into the future.
