Guaranteed Irish is proud to announce the formation of the Guaranteed Irish Appraisals Advisors Council - a dynamic, cross-sector advisory council created to strengthen the application process and uphold the criteria required by a business to gain the national symbol of Trust. The criteria are centred around: Jobs, Communities, Provenance and Sustainability.

The introduction of the new extended Appraisals Advisors Council marks a new milestone in the organisation’s mission to rigorously evaluate businesses that positively impact the Irish economy and society.
According to BrÍd O’Connell, CEO, Guaranteed Irish, ‘Every business can apply to become a member, but not everyone will meet the criteria and get through the process and that’s what makes the Guaranteed Irish licence so valuable. A rising tide lifts all boats. By having a standard of Trust for businesses based in Ireland, it differentiates us when we trade on the International and global stage. Also, when we trade with each other it gives us comfort when we know a business can be trusted. In a time of deep global mistrust, it offers an advantage in business based in Ireland, who have the licence.
What does Guaranteed Irish guarantee?
The licence issued ensures that the business guarantees a commitment to job creation here in Ireland, it guarantees a commitment to its community ( giving back in some way- sponsorship, education, care, support), it guarantees 50% or more of the products/service value is created here in Ireland ( fostering innovation and enterprise) and it also guarantees that the business is on a sustainable journey.
The Appraisals Advisors Council is made up of experienced professionals from diverse sectors. Each member brings a unique perspective and a shared commitment to upholding the Guaranteed Irish values.
