Dr. Norah Patten awarded a Special Recognition accolade & Business of the Year announced as Uniquely
The highly anticipated Guaranteed Irish Business Awards 2025, proudly sponsored by PTSB, returned for its fourth year, delivering yet another memorable celebration of Irish business excellence. The event was filled with energy and camaraderie as members gathered to network and honour outstanding achievements. Louth-based company, Uniquely, took home the prestigious Business of the Year award, while the esteemed Guaranteed Irish Special Recognition Award 2025 was presented to Dr. Norah Patten for her remarkable contributions to aeronautical engineering and as a STEM advocate.
Adding to the excitement, Homevalue secured a €50,000 communications campaign to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Guaranteed Irish which ran for the last year. As a reward for supporting so many other Guaranteed Irish businesses in their supply chain, they landed the big prize. In a special highlight of the evening, a new character, ‘The G’, made their debut—announcing the lucky winner in a first public appearance.
The elegant black-tie event was held at The Round Room at The Mansion House, where 400 guests enjoyed a delicious meal crafted from locally sourced ingredients, supplied by a number of Guaranteed Irish members. The evening was hosted by renowned Irish comedian Mario Rosenstock, who kept the crowd entertained with his signature wit. The night was a testament to the leadership, trust, innovation, and resilience of Irish businesses, reinforcing the Guaranteed Irish commitment to fostering local enterprise.
An independent panel of distinguished industry leaders from names including Matheson, An Post, SuperValu, Viatel Technology Group, and FBD Insurance, had the tough task of shortlisting a total of 84 finalists after whittling down hundreds of entries.
Brid O’Connell, CEO Guaranteed Irish, commented: "The awards night is always a fantastic opportunity for networking, but most importantly, for celebration. This year, there was an incredible atmosphere in the room. A huge thank you to all our sponsors, including title sponsor PTSB, for making it all possible. The night was filled with surprises—exciting entertainment, new awards, and, most importantly, a strong sense of purpose as our members continue to support one another. I was especially delighted to present our Special Recognition award to Dr. Norah Patten, whom the board really admires and consider a great role model. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who applied—I am truly proud to work with each and every member."
