The Secret Behind Dublin's Success

What is the secret behind Dublin’s success?

Firstly, congratulations to both Dublin and Kerry for providing us with the epitome of a classic. A game played under very tough conditions that really could’ve gone either way. However, one things for certain,

Dublin v Kerry truly is a sporting rivalry that never fails to live up to expectation and a fixture that once again made history…

But ultimately, the match got us in Guaranteed Irish thinking - What is the secret behind Dublin’s success?

Or perhaps even more importantly, what makes a great GAA team?

Is it their panel of players?

Their skill?

Their management?

Their ability to break through a blanket defence?

While these factors all play a big role, we, at Guaranteed Irish believe that it’s the communities behind the team that are the backbone of their success.

Each successful GAA Team has a powerful community behind them.

From the people who make the sandwiches for the team after the game,

To the local business that provided them with their equipment,

all the way to the parents who drive their kids to training and stand on the side of the pitch in the rain.

It’s safe to say our GAA Teams have undeniable support from their local communities and of course, it’s always a pleasure to see one of our Guaranteed Irish members, O’Neills, at the heart of this sporting event; the sporting event that serves as a culmination of the activities of each of these communities - The All Ireland Final.

As you already know, O’Neills are responsible for the jerseys each team wore on the day. An iconic item of clothing that unites, instils rivalry, and provides us with a sense of belonging…

O’Neills are more than just a sportswear manufacturer, like all the other parts that make up this sport we call our own, they are supporting our local communities.

Guaranteed Irish’s theme for this month is Sports Month and what a great way to kick it off with some congratulations to the local communities that made such an amazing final.

So, when you’re thinking back on the events of Sunday, we ask you to spare a thought for all the communities and businesses that solidify the backbone of GAA.

So, join us as we celebrate Sports this month and make sure to #LookOutForTheG this August.
