Championing Small Businesses in the Food & Drink Sector

FBD are a valued partner of Guaranteed Irish, sharing the same passion for supporting and championing Irish businesses as we do.

FBD Insurance has always supported SMEs, but now they are taking that support a step further. Small businesses need big support, but big advertising spends are out of reach for the vast majority. FBD have used their marketing budget and branch network to create something HUGE, giving small businesses, the recognition and the platform they deserve.

At a time when there is a lot of talk about the need to help small businesses FBD are taking action and providing that support, in a tangible way.

So far, FBD's support package has consisted of a photoshoot, billboard, radio campaigns, and a feature in The Independent in addition to FBD in branch displays and a social and PR campaign.

As part of Food and Drink Month, Guaranteed Irish along with FBD wanted to highlight three Irish businesses from the campaign that are using local Irish suppliers and doing exciting things within the sector. We would also like to thank FBD for their support in sponsoring our podcast - listen to Emma Wall from Glenisk here

Working from Nicola’s mother’s kitchen, Dvir cooked up a selection of his favourite mezze; dips, salads and breads usually served at the start of the meal in the Middle East.

Mezze is a deli/café/shop by day and hosts cooking classes and events by night.
