Pharma Plus was born out of frustration, honestly. As pharmacists, we were being asked every day by patients what supplements we'd actually recommend — and the honest answer was that most of what was on the market wasn't good enough. Too many ingredients, wrong dosages, a lot of marketing noise and not enough science. So we decided to create what we'd been searching for ourselves — evidence-based supplements, every ingredient at the right dose, nothing unnecessary added. That mission hasn't changed. We're still driven by the same thing: giving Irish people supplements they can actually trust.

2. What do today's customers expect from a supplement brand, and how has Pharma Plus evolved to meet those expectations?

Customers are a lot savvier now. They want to know what's in a product, why it's there, and whether it actually works — and they're right to ask. There's been a real shift away from wellness trends and miracle claims toward wanting something clean, simple, and honest. That's exactly where Pharma Plus sits. We've always believed supplements should only be taken when they're needed, for a specific purpose, with ingredients that have a proven health benefit. We've grown our range — gut health, immune support, menopause, skin — but the philosophy has stayed exactly the same.

3. Trust is essential when choosing supplements. How do you ensure every Pharma Plus product delivers on quality, safety and provenance?

Every product is developed by our pharmacist team using extensive scientific research, with ingredients chosen for their clinical evidence, not their marketing appeal. Our finished products are assembled and quality checked here in Ireland, working with trusted Irish and international ingredient suppliers to meet the standards you'd expect from a pharmacist-led brand. We're not a marketing company that happens to sell supplements — we're pharmacists first, and that shapes every decision we make.
