Proudly manufactured in Ireland since 1887, at our two state-of-the-art factories located in Macroom and Wexford. We use grass-fed dairy ingredients, sourced from local suppliers, to make our nourishing1,2 follow-on milk and toddler powders. --- [At Cow & Gate](https://hubs.li/Q03Z_cLx0), we are dedicated to enhancing the sustainability of our Irish manufacturing sites. Both factories use 100% renewable electricity, are proud members of Bord Bia’s sustainability programme, Origin Green, and have invested significantly over the past number of years to help further reduce carbon emissions. At Macroom, we are committed to reducing emissions and driving energy efficiency across all site activities. Since 2017, supported by multiple innovative energy recovery projects, our factory has cut energy consumption by 36%, saving a total of 22,480 tonnes of CO2e emissions.  Situated near the Gearagh nature reserve in West Cork, we take our responsibility to protect the local environment seriously. In recent years, we have strengthened biodiversity on site by planting 700 native Irish trees, including beech and ash, and introducing perennial wildflowers. To further raise awareness, we have installed a biodiversity information panel to educate employees and visitors about local species and habitats. We also foster environmental awareness among employees through dedicated training sessions on energy and sustainability, complemented by eco-guided walks to the adjacent Gearagh nature reserve. Our Wexford factory has cut scope 1 and 2 emissions by 80% since 2011, equating to 11,800 tonnes of CO2e. This was achieved following the introduction of several energy-saving measures, including moving the factory to predominantly renewable energy through the installation of a biomass boiler powered by locally sourced sustainable wood. At Cow & Gate, we will continue to focus on sustainability, innovation, and local sourcing, reinforcing the values that make us unique. As experts in baby nutrition, our Follow-On and Toddler milks contain only high-quality ingredients and are enriched with essential nutrients to support your baby’s development1,2 during their weaning journey. Loved far and wide for generations, we continue to support through every giggle, every grumble, every wobble, every wiggle, simply crafted to help your baby flourish1,2.   [Cow & Gate](https://hubs.li/Q03Z_cLx0) is excited to introduce their new pack design across their Follow-on and Toddler milks! With the same trusted recipes inside\*, the packs clearly highlight some of the important nutrients within - vitamin D for immune system, iron for cognitive development, and calcium for bone growth. 1,2   ![NF CG Packshot 4x5](https://blog.guaranteedirish.ie/hs-fs/hubfs/NF%20CG%20Packshot%204x5.jpg?width=281&height=351&name=NF%20CG%20Packshot%204x5.jpg) Cow & Gate Follow-on Milk & Toddler Milk's mission is simple, to nourish your little one so they can truly flourish, and support parents through every beautiful moment of parenting.  We put our parents first, for tips and non-judgemental support, our specialist baby advisors and experienced parents are here to talk and to encourage confident parenting at every stage. Our website: [www.candgbabyclub.ie](http://www.candgbabyclub.ie) also offers advice for parents.    *Breastfeeding is best. Follow-on milk should only be used as part of a mixed diet and not as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. Use on the advice of a healthcare professional. Use Toddler milk as part of a varied, balanced diet from 1 year.*    *1,2 - Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system in children. Calcium is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. Iron contributes to normal cognitive development in children.*  ![](https://blog.guaranteedirish.ie/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-1.png?width=608&height=214&name=image-png-1.png) *\*The exceptions are Cow & Gate Toddler Milk 200ml and 1L recipes, which changed in October alongside the new pack designs.*    [Guaranteed Irish - Supporting Business that Supports Ireland](https://www.guaranteedirish.ie/)
